Sound
and Video Solutions relies on experience obtained through
working with clients of many types and styles since 1982.
Designers are also afforded the assistance of various
computer-based technologies.
One
of these technologies is the EASE acoustic modeling program, developed and distributed by Renkus-Heinz. This program
allows designers to construct a model of the acoustical
environment and “see” how the environment reacts to speaker
cabinets being considered. EASE can generate plots that
show coverage in the listening areas as well as the intelligibility
based on the room’s construction. Surface materials are
programmed into the model in order to provide more accurate
acoustical simulation within the program.
Another
tool available is the MAPP Online, developed by Meyer Sound. This program allows for the use of modeling data
as it relates to the Meyer Sound product line. MAPP is
very comparable to the EASE program with respect to function.
Stardraw is
a program that is used to “sketch” how a system fits
together. It is useful for the installation technicians
in their work. It also is helpful in giving a pictorial
flow chart of how the system is assimilated.
Experience is
the best tool of all. Sound and Video Solutions has been blessed to have worked with clients across the spectrum. From traditional, liturgical-style
churches to the contemporary and the charismatic, Sound and Video Solutions has experience with all these and all in between. Sound and Video Solutions has also been blessed to have worked with ethnically-diverse congregations,
as well. In addition, Sound and Video Solutions maintains a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, governmental and educational
clients. The experience obtained through the course
of doing business with such a diverse client base plays
a vital role in the design phase of the multimedia
system.
